Happy New Year Karen. I’m going to try baking that cake today to take to the New Year Levee that I’m going to.

Happy New Year, Karen! I will definitely try baking the orange cake soon. Today’s tradition for our family is to make a raspberry jellied salad. It is looking so pretty in a cut glass bowl. You mix 2 cups of boiling water with 2 pks of raspberry jello, then add 14 oz of applesauce and a package of frozen raspberries. Yum, yum, yum!

Yum, yum, yum is right! I love jellied salads, (and apple sauce, and raspberries). Grew up on them, (grated carrot jelly salad a la my Mom!), so yours takes me right back, and sounds even more delicious. Thank Sue! I’ve never made one, so it’s definitely one to try. I like how easy it sounds to make, too! A lovely tradition you have there. Happy New Year, and enjoy your day. 🙂
